Swift Systems Celebrates 15 Years of Serving Regional Businesses

Founded in 1998, Swift Systems provides IT consulting and engineering support to regional businesses. Swift Systems launched the business as a local information technology company offering bandwidth, web hosting, and local systems engineering. The company then expanded its portfolio to offer an array of services including the area’s first locally owned DSL platform and later high-speed fixed wireless access. Swift also added cloud based email and backup for business, and a variety of other support, security, and business automation services. In 2004, Swift Systems opened their first data center in Frederick, Maryland. This addition expanded Swift’s service capabilities to include rackspace and a rock solid platform for cloud based solutions including virtual private clouds, cloud backup, and cloud based disaster recovery and failover, Purify™ email spam filtering, and hosted VoIP phone systems. Today, Swift Systems specializes in full-service IT support, managed services, strategic consulting, and building private clouds for business.
