Job Description
This is not your standard Help Desk position. Swift Systems is looking for a disciplined, talented, and customer-focused Support Engineer to join its established engineering team. You’ll collaborate with our customer service and engineering teams to deliver quality IT solutions as well as services to customers in a variety of industries in the tristate area.

Requirements for this Job
This position is client-facing with the core responsibilities of performing remote IT support for Swift’s customers in a variety of industry verticals covering 4000 connected endpoints.
To qualify for this position, you should have two or more years of experience doing remote help desk support. You should have a strong working knowledge of fundamental operations of Windows software, virtualization technology, mobile devices, and other equipment (printers, scanners, etc). More importantly, you must demonstrate a history of excellent customer service, strong personal responsibility, ability to take ownership of technical issues, and consistent delivery and follow-through under pressure.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience working on a helpdesk
  • Knowledge of Exchange and Office 365
  • Experience with VMWare and Hyper-V
  • Understanding of MS Windows (Servers and Workstations)
  • Excellent documentation, technical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to clearly recommend technology solutions
  • Local travel to client sites required as needed
  • General awareness of Linux

  • Cisco CCNA
  • Microsoft MCSA
  • ITIL Foundations
  • Other industry certifications
  • Prior Managed Service Provider experience strongly preferred

Compensation
Salary will be $45k – $60k depending on qualifications and experience. This position also participates in our profit sharing plan to reward teams who deliver excellent service and performance to our clients.
